What is Upload?

To upload a file to Macson (place it on our server via the internet), you can use a system known as File Transfer Protocol (FTP). This is the preferred method of internet-based transmission of large files (greater than 10M). You may attach files to email if the total combined file size of the email and attachments is less than 10M and send to customer@macson.com.

Your operating system may have FTP abilities to upload files, otherwise you will need to use third-party FTP software. Sending files directly to our FTP server is faster and is less likely to have transmission errors than email attachments.

Macintosh users: We recommend Cyberduck. You can download a Freeware version from the Cyberduck website. Windows users: We recommend CoreFTP.
You can download a Freeware version from the Core FTP website.
